Filo Tag can be connected or reconnected from one phone to another, be it iOS or Android as long as the same user profile is used on the second smartphone. 

For this reason it is important to properly disconnect Filo Tag from the phone that it is currently paired with in order to pair it with a new one.

Follow these steps to disconnect Filo Tag from the first smartphone (if still running):

  1. Go to the detail screen of the Filo Tag, by clicking the three dots at the top right to access the Settings screen and press on "Remove your FIlo".

  1. Then turn off the Bluetooth of the first smartphone.

Follow these steps on the smartphone where you want to associate your Filo Tag:

  1. Open the Filo app in the second smartphone (the one you wish to pair the Filo Tag with), making sure that you are logged in with the same user profile;

  1. Once logged into the app, click the three dashes at the top left and press "Add a Filo”;

  1. Select “Filo Tag”

  1. Make sure that you activate the four permissions indicated in the ‘App Setup’ (All of them must be green in order for Filo Tag to work properly) and then click ‘Continue’

  1. Click the button on your Filo Tag twice on the activation screen. Filo Tag will emit a series of 4 to 5 consecutive sounds;

  1. Select continue and wait for the phone to find the Filo Tag

  1. Now assign a name and category to your Filo Tag. 

Attention: Your Filo Tag is already linked to your account, so with a single click it will not emit any sound. We recommend you to go to the pairing screen and hit the button two times on your Filo Tag. (Filo Tag will emit a series of 4 to 5 consecutive sounds, this way you can make sure that it has been disconnected to from the old phone)
